Our teacher, Adam, mentioned grouping today and how it will be done. Usually, the groups are decided by the teacher, with some influence of students preferences, however, the teacher has the final say. However, due to the current circumstances of a lockdown and doing online school, Adam wanted us to be able to choose our groups based on people we would work well with but most importantly, keep contact with and best communicate with. This is because it far more difficult to communicate everything online and plan a whole project in this manner.
My group is Daisy, Fred, Carl and myself. We are the only group of 4, however, I feel as though this will work to our advantage and means we have a larger variation of ideas to choose from. Initially, I wanted to work with Daisy, this is because we work well together and can communicate clearly with each other, additionally, I appreciate her perspective on certain ideas. I work with Fred in Theatre and so I know that we can work effectively in a team together, additionally, he is very light-hearted and I think will help to keep the group uplifted in times where we might come to a block of ideas or disagreement. Lastly, I know Carl is quite a creative person and really good original ideas, as well as that, he has a great passion for music tech and so I know that he will be a good asset to the group when it comes to the sound elements of the title sequence.
