After presenting our shot list to Adam and Luke, our teachers, they brought to our attention that we need to make sure we establish where in the timeline of the film the opening title sequence is taking place, eg. is it the final game and the film is in a 'how we got here style' etc. They also mentioned that we need to ensure our process solidifies our ideas and we have a clear plan to avoid improvisation on the day and have a clear development of our idea. As a result, we spoke as a 4 and decided that this would be at the beginning of the plot then they are near relegation, this match in the opening title sequence being them playing their local rivals - the best team in the lower league. This match deciding wether they get into the big league or not. We also decided that implementing a commentator to bookend the title sequence would be beneficial in creating the overall atmosphere but also clarifying that this team is a local, up-and-coming team rather than already being a big well known team.
