Idea 3
(simulation)
Film Synopsis:
Based upon the popular conspiracy, this film explores the idea that life is a simulation. A tech. prodigy spikes a popular girl's drink at a party with a chip in, programmed to connect to her brain and give him full control of her autonomy through his laptop (game like the sims?). He makes her decisions for her and tries to navigate her life and relationships. He tries to make her fall in love with him, however, after the drug
wears off she takes control of herself back - however has a large memory gap for the week that she was being controlled.

Opening Titles:
In the style of a cold opening, all done from the perspective of a computer. Close-ups of code (titles typed in as if they are embedded in the code) and tabs from the internet researching the conspiracy of life being a simulation. The cursor hovers over the 'x' of a tab researching the best way to drug someone - foreshadowing the protagonists unethical actions and then clicks out of it as if to hide it. Then a software (game similar to the sims?) where he adjusts the appearance of a character (looks like later female protagonist). Suddenly the protagonists name is called by his mother from downstairs and it cuts to a stereotypical 'loner' sat at his desk who then grabs his bag to go to school.
